REAR EXTENSION ALTERNATION AND ADDITION
Terraces always offer space challenges, and for this residence, we carried out a rear extension to create a free-flowing home. No matter the floor size, the kitchen and living room make way for space and provide continuity throughout the house. Installing a glass wall between the garden and kitchen wall expands the space and creates the illusion of heightened space, as well as highlighting a unique feature of the house.
Timber veneer in-built custom joinery brings a welcomed touch of earthiness, contrasting effortlessly against the light grey splashback and kitchen island. Our client’s main priority was to have the rangehood situated on the island, so it is in a central location, providing enough counter space for multiple people to cook together.
